Association Registration
Understand the new Secretary of State registration requirements, annual renewal obligations, required filings, and the consequences of failing to maintain an active registration.
What Georgia Community Associations Need to Know Before January 1, 2027
Georgia’s new Property Owners’ Bill of Rights Act, originally enacted as SB 406 and now Act 715, will significantly change the legal and operational requirements governing condominium and homeowners associations beginning January 1, 2027.
This 90-minute webinar is designed to help board members and community association managers prepare for implementation.
LLH attorneys will review the provisions of Act 715 that most directly affect association operations, explain the Secretary of State’s implementing rules and guidance in effect at the time of the program, and identify practical steps associations should take before the new requirements become effective.
The program will focus on what boards and managers need to know now: registration, records, notices, meetings, collections, foreclosure procedures, owner complaints, board obligations, and the policies and procedures that may need to be updated for 2027.
The presentation will conclude with time for questions.
