Teresa R. Stephens graduated magna cume laude from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. While at the University of Georgia, Teresa served as the President of the Golden Key Honor Society. Teresa continued her education at the University of Georgia and earned her law degree in 2001.

Teresa has been an attorney for over 23 years. She began her career as a bankruptcy attorney representing clients in financial distress for 15 years. Then she subsequently went on to represent lenders, mortgage companies and financial institutions as a creditor’s rights attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Teresa practiced real estate law for 5 years with a concentration in residential and commercial real estate as well as curative title matters. Teresa is currently practicing real estate law out of the firm’s Winder location. She is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the Georgia Bar Association and Atlanta Bar Association. She is admitted to the United States District Courts of the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia as well as the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with family, reading and traveling.
