Kennedy Jackson is a litigation attorney with experience representing clients in contested matters from initial consultation through final resolution. Her practice has included extensive work in civil litigation, family law, legal research, motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediation, hearings, and trial preparation.

Before joining Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, Kennedy practiced with a metro Atlanta law firm where she managed a full litigation caseload involving divorce, child custody, child support, contempt, modification, and other contested matters. In that role, she drafted pleadings and motions, conducted discovery, developed litigation strategies, negotiated settlements, prepared clients and witnesses for depositions and trial, and regularly advocated for clients in mediations and court proceedings.

Kennedy began her legal career as a Staff Attorney with the Piedmont Judicial Circuit. Working directly with the judiciary, she conducted legal research involving both civil and criminal matters, prepared memoranda and bench briefs, assisted with judicial opinions and orders, analyzed statutes and precedent, and provided direct support during court proceedings.

Her experience before entering private practice also included work involving real estate and contract disputes, general civil litigation, criminal defense, legal aid, and public policy. Those varied experiences provide Kennedy with a broad perspective on litigation and a practical understanding of the issues that can drive disputes both inside and outside the courtroom.

Kennedy earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2024. While in law school, she was active in the Black Law Students Association, Criminal Law Society, American Constitution Society, Atlanta Bar Association, and Gate City Bar Association.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from the University of Georgia in 2020, graduating cum laude. While at the University of Georgia, Kennedy participated in Mock Trial, served as a mentor through the Clarke County Mentoring Program, and held a leadership position with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Outside the office, Kennedy enjoys traveling, photography, and reading.
