Harleigh practices in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office. Her practice focuses primarily on concurrent jurisdiction claims arising under the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.

Harleigh graduated cum laude from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and she went on to graduating cum laude from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Harleigh was a member of the trial advocacy and moot court boards and served as Director of the Tri-County Expungement Project. She served as a brief writer for the ABA Law Student Division National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC), where her team advanced to the top 8 teams of the final round at the “Brooklyn Regional.” Harleigh also served as Charleston Law Review’s Associate Editor in Chief, and her article on the Prison Litigation Reform Act was published in the law review’s Student Works Issue, Vol. XVI.

During law school, Harleigh had the opportunity to earn over 300 pro bono hours due to her work with the Expungement Project. As a result of this work, she was awarded the Charleston School of Law Pro Bono Populi Service Award in 2021 for her service and commitment to the Charleston School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Harleigh practiced both state and longshore workers’ compensation defense in Charleston, SC. Harleigh was born and raised in upstate South Carolina, but the low country has been her home since 2013.
