Owen joins Lueder, Larkin & Hunter as an Associate in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office. His practice primarily focuses on state and federal workers’ compensation, including concurrent jurisdiction claims arising under the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Owen was born and raised on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Owen graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. He went on to earn his J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in 2025.
While in law school, Owen was a member of The Transactional Law Team, where he served as the team’s President during his 3L year. Owen competed nationally at Tulane University Law School’s Pro Football Negotiation Competition. He was also an active member of the Business Law Society, Maritime Law Society, Survivor Advocacy Society, Entertainment and Sports Law, and the Student Ambassador Program.
In his free time, Owen enjoys supporting his beloved New England sports teams and Bayern Munich, running multiple fantasy football leagues, watching movies, and participating in trivia around Charleston.
