Javonna Smith is an associate attorney at the firm, where she brings a focused and compassionate approach to representing clients in complex legal matters. Her practice includes trial advocacy, client counseling, and strategic litigation support, with a foundation in both family law and criminal defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Javonna gained valuable courtroom experience at several Georgia-based firms, including Family Matters Law Group and Jaffe Family Law. She has represented clients in a wide range of matters, from contested divorces and asset division to felony defense in the Superior Court of Fulton County. Her litigation skills were further honed as an Assistant Public Defender, where she developed a strong commitment to advocacy for underserved populations.

Javonna earned her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, where she also represented low-wage workers in employment disputes through the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Southern University.

Javonna is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is conversational in French.
