Lueder, Larkin & Hunter Secures Defense Victory in Social Media Discovery Dispute
Lueder, Larkin & Hunter attorneys Jason Hammer and Jeff Starr recently prevailed in the State Court of Fulton County on a Motion to Compel, thereby securing an Order for the production of a personal injury plaintiff’s entire Facebook account. The scope of permissible discovery of social media accounts is an evolving issue of Georgia law, with different trial courts taking differing stances on the scope of permissible social media discovery. In securing this Order compelling the production of an entire Facebook account, Mr. Hammer and Mr. Starr’s efforts continued the defense bar’s efforts to flush out the issue in favor of production.
