Paige Flowers Laine has been a member of the Georgia Bar for over two decades. Mrs. Laine began her legal career at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, assisting low-income families in civil law matters. Her diverse legal experience includes politics, campaign contribution reporting and legislation; government benefits; family law; mergers & acquisitions; commercial real estate and zoning; worker’s compensation; and health care regulation. For the past 15 years, her practice has focused extensively on defending personal injury claims including automobile accidents, commercial trucking accidents, slip and fall accidents, and product defects.

Mrs. Laine earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she was a Ty Cobb Scholarship recipient and a Hatton Lovejoy Scholar. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Shorter College (now Shorter University) in Rome, Georgia, where she was a Presidential Scholar and was awarded the Clair Wyatt Senior English Award. Following law school, she served on the Shorter Board of Governors for almost ten years.

Mrs. Laine has served as a guest instructor at Emory’s NITA Trial Techniques student program and Orientation on Professionalism for first year law students. She has been a guest judge for the Forsyth County Optimist Club’s oratorical contest for elementary and middle school students, the largest contest of its kind in the world. She helped establish and then served on a new PTA for her two daughters’ elementary school. She actively volunteers at her daughters’ schools, with Girl Scouts and with her church.
