Rob Lafayette attended The Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated with honor with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and a minor in Sociology. After graduation, Rob spent eight years working for an Atlanta based construction company. His experience there included Construction Management and General Contracting. His project experience included telecommunications, government, K-12 and higher education projects.
Rob graduated Cum Laude earning his Juris Doctorate Degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2009. While attending law school, Rob was a student attorney at the Georgia State College of Law Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. He was also a Fellow in the Urban Fellows program. In addition, Rob was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
Rob's practical experience includes serving on the board of directors for his last two homeowners associations, including serving as president (current position), treasurer and secretary. This experience provides Rob with insight into the issues directors and officers face on a day-to-day basis. His primary areas of practice are community association law, collections, insurance defense, and litigation.
